... Finally, I am getting around to post the very last look for this mini series of The "Most-Worn" Item of the summer 2009. If this is the first time you visit the blog and don't know what this is about, please visit the direct link of this series that featured my very favorite men's light denim from John Galliano. Just now, before I went ahead with this post, I browsed briefly all the previous four posts from the series and contemplated a bit. I realized that all the looks in which I wore this pair of pants were casual in style, fairly loose in shape, light in palette and fresh in overall feel ... It is indeed a perfect summer pants! I am curious if or not I would continue to feel the love or as strong love towards it when next summer comes around or if something else in my closet would come along and steal the spot light??

... So, what do you have in your closet that would be the darling of this Fall??? So far, I have been wearing my vintage white coat with 3/4 sleeves a lot. But, with the weather descends sharply, I will probably switch to something a bit heavier pretty soon ....

... To finish this outfit, I paired the denim with another favorite summer basic, a long sleeve sheer cardigan from Clu over the cotton polo in bright orange color, platform with rubber heel from FabylRobin, woven bag from Marc by Marc Jacobs and shades from Stella McCartney.

I love those jeans. They seem so perfect for summer. I've really worn my brown boots and my long black wool coat. Both are perfect now because it's so chilly outside.

I can tell that my little black biker jacket with fur on the inside is going to get worn out this fall. The back is cut high, so much of my back is exposed . . . so it probably won't make it all the way through the winter.

Love your hair up like that. Chic.

What a fresh palette, I love the colours, not very autumnal at all. The tangerine does go a long way! Great matching of the bag and the shoes.

I adore this look and especially, the jeans. They look gorgeous on you!
As for my well-treasured autumn item, it will be my black coat, I think. I bought it looooooooooong time ago, at least 6 or 7 years back. I simply love it. x

I love the way the neck lines work together!

Are you going to find a way to wear your Galliano jeans throughout the winter? I've been brainstorming ways to transition my boyfriend jeans over to winter but have yet to really experiment with any looks.

My piece for the Fall will have to be my favorite pair of Frye boots.

i love how you integrate a preppy item (polo shirt) and make it look totally not preppy.

Dear, thank you for your sweet comment on my blog. i'm loving how you're effortlessly pulled off this casual chic look. That jeans has the best cut! As for Fall, i was planning to wear some dresses, tights, and jackets/cardigans.. but it seems like we're jumping straight to winter so it's byebye dresses and hello pants.
Btw, i realized that we haven't exchanged links yet, i'd be so happy if you're willing to :).

Hope you have a good week.

Love this slouchy casual look! The orange is such a great idea to add a pop of color. I actually rarely integrate this particular color into my wardrobe, but it's such a fun shade. Until now (and it's only been a few days since it's gotten cold) I must say my leather jacket has been my best friend again!

You inspired my outfit today! I almost wore it with my husband's jeans to really get the same look but chose trousers for a more "professional" look at work.
