... Last week, I was planning to do a whole week of Ethnic styles. But, the end of week became a bit chaotic and I could not finish uploading all the looks. So, I am going to continue the ethnic mode this week. Today's photographs were taken in the early summer this year. This is definitely one of rare chances for you to see me with something that have actual animal-graphics on. It just happened to fit in the current trend of horse, apes, sharks ... thanks for mr. kane!!!
... I bought the dress in a local craft store in my hometown. It has really intricate details, such as little shirred shoulder straps, small pleated trim that ran through left side front seam, asymmetric structure and the little tassel placed at the end of the pleated trim. The best part was the silhouette, created by having a very sluggishly-fitted top, contrasting the slightly lantern-shaped skirt!! Whoever made this really poured into a lot of works and thoughts to perfect its design... The sandal was also one of my fave, C.Y.D. by Cydney Mandel. Unfortunately shortly afterward, the front strap broken and I still could not manage to find a pair to replace it. I did found the brand online - but not exact shades I wanted. So, probably, the search will continue once the weather gets warmer!!! As for the turban, it was made of a printed scarf with similar earthy palette in a mixture of burgundy, teal green, ocean blue and some dark chocolate brown. I don't know if you can tell from the photo. The way I wrap the scarf was different from the previous look. Part of scarf was twisted while wrapped around my head. It was very similar like to have a braid going over the front portion of the head. I like different ways to wear head wrap, mostly treating it like the actual hair by making braid and bun out of scarf.
XOXO ~

I love this series, the clothes are beautiful!! I hope you are able to fix the strap, I hate when that happens. The fit of the dress is gorgeous, what a wonderful style!

the dress is truely on of the kind, really interesting.
Beautiful friction between the dress and the rough background. I love your blog so much I have added it on my blog list. Naturally I’d be absolutely delighted if Psynopsis could end up on your list, too. (If you like my blog.) Sabine x
I love to see you using stronger colors. It is very nice on you.

You make every piece look amazing, but this dress might be my favorite. The cat with the ethnic print - perfection.
